Prophet’s Birthday Commemoration Kicks Off in Al-Mansuriyah District

Al-mansuriyah: The Local Council and Mobilization Department in al-Mansuriyah district of Hodeida governorate officially launched activities commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) for the Hijri year 1447, under the slogan: 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.'

According to Yemen News Agency, District Director Amer Ali emphasized that commemorating this occasion reflects the deep love and connection to the Prophet Muhammad and embodies the faith identity upheld by the Yemeni people. He stated that this event sends a message of loyalty to the Prophet and reaffirms the commitment to major Islamic causes, including the Palestinian issue and the ongoing situation in Gaza, amidst what he described as suspicious Arab and international silence.

Ashraf al-Rudaini, Deputy Head of the Education Sector in the district, highlighted the importance of activating school programs and activities in honor of the Prophet's birthday. He emphasized how these efforts help instill prophetic values in younger generations and foster a sense of belonging and awareness of national issues. Al-Rudaini noted that the celebration is part of a broader revivalist project that seeks to restore the transformative role the Prophet played in promoting freedom, dignity, and justice.

Scholar Abdulbari al-Ahdal, Head of the Scholars' Unit in the district, described the event as a spiritual and educational opportunity to draw inspiration from the Prophet's biography. He urged the community to renew their commitment to following the Prophet's path in rejecting tyranny and supporting the oppressed. Al-Ahdal emphasized the significance of the occasion, asserting Yemen's dedication to its Qur'anic message and the justice of its causes.

The event saw attendance from local government officials, community figures, and members of the education sector.
