Hodeidah: Hodeidah governorate witnessed massive protests today after Friday prayers, affirming the vigilance of the Yemeni people and the continuation of their supportive stance for the causes of the nation, embodying the words of Almighty Allah: "Those who disbelieve wish that you were heedless."
According to Yemen News Agency, the participants in the protests chanted slogans supporting the Palestinian people and their resistance, denouncing the aggression on Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran, expressing their adherence to stances supporting the nation's causes and confronting projects targeting the region and its peoples. They considered the American threats directed at the Sultanate of Oman a violation of international norms and a targeting of the positions of independent states, expressing their full solidarity with the Sultanate, leadership and people, in the face of those threats.
The residents of Hodeidah pointed out that American pressures aimed at expanding normalization in the region are an extension of attempts to impose political and military hegemony, affirming that the peoples of the nation possess enough awareness and will to maintain their positions and constants. They renewed their steadfast stance in supporting the Palestinian cause, supporting the resistance axis countries, and the causes of the nation, affirming the continuation of general mobilization, raising readiness, and enhancing community awareness to face current challenges, standing as one row to defend the interests of the nation and its just causes.
The statement issued by the protests affirmed the continuation of the Yemeni position supporting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the resistance in Lebanon, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and adherence to the equation of "unified fronts" as a choice that enhances facing common challenges. The statement considered the days of Eid al-Adha as an occasion to renew the covenant with supportive stances for the nation's causes, pointing out that the steadfast position alongside the Palestinian people embodies the faith-based and human values carried by the Yemeni people, and that weapons are present and hands are on the trigger until victory is achieved.
It warned the countries of the Arab and Islamic world against succumbing to American pressures and threats, calling on the peoples and nations of the ummah to adhere to their independent stances and enhance the factors of strength and unity in the face of hostile projects, affirming that the wise position of the nation lies in jihad for the sake of God. The statement extended warm condolences to the Palestinian people and their mujahideen on the martyrdom of leader Mohammed Ouda, who was assassinated by the hands of the Zionist enemy on the eve of Eid al-Adha, affirming that the assassination crimes committed by the Zionist enemy reflect its continuous aggressive approach against the Palestinian people and their leadership.
It also renewed solidarity with the Sultanate of Oman regarding the American threats, affirming the right of the Islamic Republic of Iran to defend its sovereignty and respond to any aggression targeting it. The statement called on the Yemeni people to interact widely with the occasion of Eid al-Wilayah (Eid of Ghadir al-Aghar), to participate in the events and activities related to its celebration, and to prepare for the public mobilization in the squares designated for it.
