Public Works Office in Hodeidah Hosts Event Celebrating Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Hodeidah: The Public Works Office in Hodeidah Governorate held a cultural evening on the Red Sea Corniche to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth under the slogan, 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.'

According to Yemen News Agency, First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri emphasized the importance of commemorating the occasion as a chance to draw inspiration from the Prophet's life and character. He noted that Yemeni celebrations demonstrate their profound love for the Prophet and their commitment to their faith-based identity. Al-Bishri stated that the occasion provides an opportunity to renew devotion to the Prophet and uphold the values of mercy, guidance, and service to society embodied in his message.

Deputy Director of the Public Works Office Mohammed Saomel remarked that the anniversary serves as an educational and spiritual occasion that encourages solidarity and compassion. He confirmed the office's dedication to reinforcing humanitarian and public-service values in serving the people of Hodeidah.

In a speech representing scholars, Sheikh Ali Saomel noted that the Prophet's birthday is more than just a commemoration; it is a renewed opportunity to learn from his life and embody the values of mercy and justice. He urged that celebrations be transformed into a motivation for work, development, and community service, in line with the Prophet's example in character and conduct.
