Sana'a: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Cooperation ambassador Ismail al-Mutawakel met on Sunday with Head of the Qatar Red Crescent Society Mission in the capital Sana'a, Ahmed al-Sharaji. During the meeting, Undersecretary al-Mutawakel emphasized that the Yemeni people and their government view positions in support of Palestine as a religious and moral obligation that cannot be reneged upon, even at a high price.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Undersecretary considered the targeting of the Prime Minister of the Government of Change and Construction and his colleagues a desperate attempt by the Israeli enemy to extract a false media victory in light of the international community's silence. The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Yemen's full solidarity with the State of Qatar and condemned the targeting of Qatar by the Israeli enemy, stressing that the attack constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and a hostile message against all countries and peoples supporting the Palestinian cause.

He praised the humanitarian and solidarity role of the Qatar Red Crescent Society, appreciating its contributions to alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people through health and relief projects and its contributions to food security. He considered these efforts to embody a sincere commitment to humanitarian principles. For his part, the head of the Qatar Red Crescent mission offered his condolences for the heinous crime that targeted the Prime Minister and his companions.
