Hajjah: The line-up of teams qualifying for the quarterfinals of the Mawlid al-Nabi Football Tournament in Aslam District, Hajjah Governorate, has been completed. Al-Tadhamun Al-Haid team claimed the eighth and final spot in the quarterfinals of the tournament, organized by the District Branch of the Youth and Sports Office under the supervision of the Governorate's Youth and Sports Office, with support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Youth Welfare Fund. The team secured their place with a decisive 4-0 victory over Al-Nusur.
According to Yemen News Agency, with this result, Al-Tadhamun joins the ranks of the qualified teams: Wahdat Bani Zaid, Al-Tadhamun Shawqba, Al-Wahda Bilthuluth, Al-Amal, Al-Shu'lah, Shabab Al-Amal, and 22 May. The organizing committee is scheduled to announce the quarterfinal fixtures and match dates soon.
In Ka'idah District, Al-Salam team advanced to the quarterfinals of the Mawlid al-Nabi Football Tournament, organized by the District Branch of the Youth and Sports Union under the supervision of the Governorate's Youth and Sports Office, after defeating Al-Rayan team in a penalty shootout following a draw.
In Bani Qais District, Shabab Al-Tour defeated Shabab Al-Ahrar 6-2 in the Mawlid al-Nabi Football Tournament in the district.
