Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted rainfall of varying intensity across several provinces in the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center's weather bulletin predicts thunderstorms of varying intensity in the provinces of Al-Mahrah, Hadhramaut, Shabwah, Abyan, Al-Bayda, Lahj, Al-Dhalea, Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Raymah, as well as the southern and eastern coasts. Scattered rainfall, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is also expected in parts of Saada, Sana'a, Amran, Al-Mahwit, and Hajjah provinces.
The center has issued warnings to citizens about the potential for flash floods in valleys and watercourses, advising caution when near these areas during and after rainfall. Additionally, it has advised against proximity to electric poles and tall trees due to thunderstorms. The center also highlighted the risks of rockfalls, mudslides, and reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountain slopes, caused by rainfall, low clouds, or fog.
