Sana'a: Sana'a University witnessed a mass rally denouncing the Israeli regime's actions against the people of Gaza, held under the slogan: 'We Continue to Support Gaza with Awareness, Insight, and Steadfastness Despite All Conspiracies.'
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the rally, including prominent figures such as Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dhef-Allah Rassam and Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Sa'adi, carried Yemeni and Palestinian flags while chanting slogans condemning the genocide committed by the Israeli occupation against Gaza's civilians. The rally served as a response to the humanitarian, moral, and religious duty to denounce the actions against Gaza's women and children amid Arab and Islamic silence.
A statement issued during the rally highlighted that the weekly mobilization is rooted in Yemen's faith-based identity and represents a form of jihad - standing in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people and their resistance. The statement called on the Arab and Islamic nations, as well as global communities, to assume their responsibilities toward the oppressed and the sanctities of Palestine.
Participants warned of Israel's intentions to expand its aggression and maintain the siege on Gaza, noting that such actions could have dangerous repercussions for Arab and Islamic nations. The rally underscored the importance of supporting Gaza as it stands as the first line of defense for the entire Ummah.
The statement also warned against attempts to undermine Yemen's unified stance in support of Gaza, emphasizing the need for global action. Yemeni universities, particularly Sana'a University, called on their members to participate actively in rallies, mobilization activities, and awareness courses to raise public consciousness and boycott products supporting Israel.
