Sana'a: A speech event was staged on Monday by the Ibb Cleanliness and Improvement Fund to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zaid bin Ali. During the event, attended by the Fund's Deputy Director Bilal al-Bukhaiti, the Head of the Cleaning and Environmental Sanitation Sector, Ahmed al-Jundi, highlighted the importance of drawing lessons from Imam Zaid's courage, strengthening resilience, and embracing the values of sacrifice in confronting tyranny and oppression.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Jundi said that commemorating the occasion reflects adherence to Imam Zaid's principles and symbolizes the continuation of a path rejecting tyranny and domination, linking historical events to the contemporary challenges facing the nation. He also stressed the importance of promoting awareness and insight while following the values and principles embodied by Imam Zaid in confronting oppression.
Al-Jundi affirmed that the Fund's employees were renewing their full support for the armed forces' statement and backing efforts to end the aggression and blockade. He also expressed their readiness to carry out their assigned duties and support state institutions in line with their national responsibilities. The event expressed also support for the statement issued by Yemen's armed forces to end the aggression and siege on Yemen.
