Ramadan Councils and Summer Courses Begin with Absentee Prayers in Lahj

Lahj: The Ramadan councils and summer courses for the year 1446 AH were inaugurated on Sunday in the Al-Qubaita district of Lahj province. At the event, absentee prayers were held for two martyrs, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and his companion Sayyid Hashim Safi. Participants emphasized the importance of continuing the martyrs’ mission in defending land, honor, and national sovereignty against oppression from forces like America, Israel, and Britain.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event highlighted the significance of Ramadan councils and their religious and cultural programs, which are celebrated annually for their educational value. The programs serve as a platform for spiritual and educational growth, offering virtues and rewards to those who participate.

Dignitaries present at the inauguration included Jamil Al-Sufi, the province’s general mobilization official, Faisal Al-Faqih, Al-Qubaita director general Wahid Al-Khodr, and Mohammed Abdulkarim, the head of the province’s summer courses. They encouraged the promotion of social solidarity and support for the poor, needy, and families of martyrs and prisoners.

The discussions also focused on the role of summer schools in preparing a knowledgeable generation, safeguarding youth from destructive ideologies, enhancing their religious identity, and protecting them from false doctrines.
