Al-jabin: The local authority and General Mobilization in Al-Jabin district of Raymah governorate on Wednesday organized a speech event and a student scouting parade to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. Participants in the parade chanted slogans expressing their joy and celebration of the occasion and condemning what they described as American and Israeli offenses against the Holy Quran and desecration of Islamic holy sites.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event and parade, Governor Faris Al-Habari affirmed that commemorating the Prophet's birthday is a celebration of the message of the Noble Prophet Muhammad, which brought guidance, mercy, and light to all humanity. He addressed the situation of the Muslim nation before and after the Quranic March, saying that the Yemeni people today enjoy dignity, freedom, and pride, have become a significant force in the region, and have emerged as a source of support for the vulnerable and oppressed among the nation.
The Raymah governor stressed the importance of instilling Quranic culture and Prophetic values among younger generations and translating these values and principles into everyday life. He called on residents of Al-Jabin in particular and the governorate's districts in general to participate widely and honorably in the central celebration scheduled for 12 Rabi' al-Awwal.
The event was attended by Raymah undersecretaries Mohammed Murad, Hafiz Al-Wahidi, and Abdullah Al-Dubaibi, as well as General Mobilization officials Mohammed Al-Nahari at the governorate level and Radwan Al-Hadidi at the district level. For his part, District Director Majed Amin addressed the significance and meanings of the occasion, the stages of the Prophet's life, and the values of guidance, mercy, and morality embodied in the Muhammadan message.
He affirmed that commemorating the occasion is not merely a celebratory ritual, but an opportunity to renew the pledge and loyalty to the Noble Prophet and reaffirm commitment to following his example in confronting conspiracies targeting Yemen, the nation, its freedom, sovereignty, and resources.
