Raymah: Mass rallies erupted across Raymah governorate on Friday, immediately after Eid al-Adha prayers, as demonstrators gathered in solidarity with the Palestinian people and to condemn the "Zionist enemy's crimes" against children and women in Gaza.
According to Yemen News Agency, the protests saw participation from key figures, including governor Faris al-Habari and province undersecretary Hafedh al-Wahidi. The demonstrators vociferously chanted slogans against the "brutal massacres" in Gaza, emphasizing Yemeni solidarity with the Palestinians. The people of Raymah affirmed their unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, vowing to back them until their land is liberated, their rights are restored, and the siege on Gaza is lifted.
Furthermore, the participants expressed their alignment with the Revolution Leader's stance on supporting Palestine and reiterated Yemen's commitment to all necessary deterrence measures.
In a statement released during the rallies, the U.S. veto was condemned as a blatant indication of its backing for the "criminal Israeli entity." The statement also called upon Arab and Islamic nations to fulfill their duties concerning the Zionist attacks on Palestinians and the al-Aqsa Mosque. Emphasis was placed on the need for charity and support for those in need during the Eid celebrations.
