Reading Teaching Skills Workshop Launched for First Grade Teachers in Hajjah

Hajjah: A training workshop on "Reading Teaching Skills" for first grade teachers in private schools at the provincial center began today in Hajjah governorate, organized by the Private Education Department in the educational sector of the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the two-day workshop aims to provide first grade teachers with teaching skills and basic principles in reading, writing, memorization, and differentiation. During the opening, the educational sector official in the governorate, Ali Al-Qutayb, explained that the workshop is part of a program to improve performance and enhance teaching methods and techniques for first grade teachers. This initiative is expected to contribute to effective advancement and mastery in reading and writing.

Ali Al-Qutayb expressed hope that participants would apply the workshop content in the educational field and practical reality to achieve the desired goals and results. For his part, the private education official, Issa Adhabi, indicated that the workshop targets 27 reading teachers for early grades in private schools in the city as a first phase. He emphasized the importance of the workshop in introducing teachers to proper letter pronunciation and correct articulation points, as well as applying spelling methods, phonetic analysis rules, and implementing sample lessons from the reading textbook.
