Radaa: The first handover of the Al-Bayda University road paving project was held in Rada’a city, marking the completion of its implementation. This project was funded and supervised by the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at a cost of 82 million and 771 thousand riyals.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project connects the main street of Al-Bayda University and spans 500 meters in length and 14 meters in width. During the handover ceremony, Al-Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris expressed gratitude towards the political leadership, the Ministry of Local and Rural Administration, and the Central Intervention Unit for their contributions to this significant project.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Ansi, Vice President of Al-Bayda University, emphasized the project’s role in serving students and enhancing services around the university. He highlighted the importance of maintaining its components.
Engineer Issam Abu Lahoum, Director of the Movement and Project Implementation Department at the Interventions Unit, noted the project’s adherence to the required engineering standards to ensure its longevity. He remarked that this initiative is part of a broader series of development projects aimed at improving infrastructure and serving the Al-Bayda province community.
Mohammed Nashwan, the Intervention Unit representative for Dhamar and Al-Bayda provinces, commended the local authority’s cooperation in completing this project, acknowledging its benefit to both students and the broader community.
