Sana'a: Zaid Al-Washli, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, confirmed that maritime traffic in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab remains stable and is proceeding normally, this coincides with the readiness of Al-Mukha Port to resume its maritime and commercial activities following its recovery and the return of its facilities to the Corporation's management.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Washli made these remarks during an inspection visit to Al-Mukha Port, accompanied by Port Director Khaled Al-Akhram. Together, they examined the port's berths, facilities, and vital infrastructure, assessed operational conditions on the ground, and evaluated the extent of damage sustained during the recent period.
Al-Washli explained that the Corporation would begin implementing initial steps to gradually and systematically restore the port's normal operations, while working to rehabilitate its facilities, restore its standing, and reactivate its role in facilitating transport and trade.
