Hodeida: The Republican Teaching Hospital Authority in the Capital Secretariat has initiated a free medical camp at Saleef Hospital in Hodeida province. The camp is set to run for three days, with a primary focus on offering essential medical care to the most underserved populations, aligning with the onset of Ramadan.
According to Yemen News Agency, the camp provides medical services in various specialties, including ophthalmology, internal medicine, pediatrics, urology, and general surgery. This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure that healthcare is accessible to all, particularly targeting impoverished communities.
Dr. Mohammed Taher Jahaf, head of the Republican Hospital Authority in the capital city, emphasized that the organization of this free medical camp is a reflection of the authority’s commitment to social responsibility. He highlighted the importance of delivering healthcare services to the most vulnerable groups, especially in regions facing a scarcity of medical professionals and resources.
Furthermore, Dr. Naji Al-Hubaishi, the head of the medical camp team, detailed that the camp focuses on providing free medical consultations and treatments across several specialties. The services specifically address emergency cases and chronic diseases, ensuring that patients receive adequate care during the camp’s duration.
