Sana'a: The Republican Teaching Hospital Authority in Sana'a is set to launch a free surgical medical camp on Saturday in Al-Jawf Governorate, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Environment and its office in the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the camp will operate for five days in partnership with Al-Hazm Hospital, focusing on providing examination services and performing surgical operations in the fields of urology and ear, nose, and throat (ENT). The initiative is designed to address the medical needs of the local community and alleviate their suffering amidst the current challenging circumstances.
Dr. Mohammed Jihaf, Head of the Republican Hospital Authority, emphasized that the camp is part of the Authority's commitment to its societal responsibilities. He highlighted that an estimated 200 surgical operations are expected to be performed during the camp. Dr. Jihaf also mentioned that discussions have been held with Dr. Mohammed Khamis, Director of Al-Hazm Hospital, to finalize technical and administrative arrangements, ensuring the camp's objectives are successfully met.
