Sanaa:The Reserve Reformatory in Sanaa Governorate organized a speech event to mark the 12th anniversary of the 21 September Revolution.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Director of the Reformatory Captain Yahya Mahmoud emphasized that the commemoration is an opportunity to honor the sacrifices of the Yemeni people and renew their commitment to the ongoing journey of construction and change.
Captain Mahmoud remarked that the 21 September Revolution was a response to prolonged corruption, injustice, marginalization, foreign interference, and attempts to control Yemeni sovereignty. He highlighted that the revolution followed a period marked by security chaos, assassinations, bombings, and social division.
He further explained that the revolution played a crucial role in realigning previous revolutions, fortifying the Yemeni people's connection with their identity and national values, and re-establishing the independence of national decision-making.
