Residents of Al-Washli Neighborhood Commemorate Prophet’s Birthday with Cultural Event

Sana'a: Residents of Al-Washli neighborhood in the Old Sana'a District, Capital Sana'a, organized a cultural event to commemorate the Prophet's birthday (Mawlid al-Nabawi).

According to Yemen News Agency, the evening gathering was attended by Deputy Mayor for Services Engineer Abdul-Fattah Al-Sharafi, Ali Shuraim, District Director Mahdi Arhab, along with local, executive, and mobilization leaders, community figures, and a large crowd of citizens.

In parallel, a cultural event was also held at Al-Madhhab Mosque in Old Sana'a, as part of the preparatory activities for the Mawlid celebrations, with District Director Mahdi Arhab in attendance.

Both events featured speeches and cultural segments highlighting the greatness of this religious occasion, its profound place in the hearts of Yemenis, and their deep bond with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). The gatherings also included poems and diverse performances expressing the Yemeni people's devotion, emulation of the Prophet's example, and commitment to walking his righteous path.
