Sanaa: The Southern Movement's component (SM), a participant in the National Dialogue Conference that signed the Peace and Partnership Agreement, has declared May 25, known as Resistance and Liberation Day, as a pivotal moment signaling substantial changes in the ongoing conflict with Israel.
According to Yemen News Agency, the General Secretariat of SM's component issued a statement highlighting that the Israeli enemy had long operated under the illusion of invincibility. However, the Lebanese resistance demonstrated that resilience and sacrifice make the occupation untenable, regardless of its oppressive nature.
The statement extended congratulations to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Sayyed Naim Qassem, and the Lebanese people, as well as other leaders and nations within the Resistance Axis, on the 25th anniversary of Resistance and Liberation Day.
Furthermore, it emphasized that the spirit of Resistance and Liberation Day, which first shone from 2000 to 2006 and later in Gaza in 2021, will persist, destined to outlast the oppressive Zionist entity, its American allies, and their collaborators.
The statement also paid tribute to the Yemeni people's enduring support for Gaza, even during times of widespread weakness and betrayal by close allies. It condemned the ongoing aggression and genocide perpetrated by Zionist and American forces against civilians in Gaza, while applauding the strategic military initiatives undertaken by the Yemeni Armed Forces in support of Gaza and its people.
