Sana’a: Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, President of Sana’a University, reviewed the progress of the educational process, the availability of laboratories, and equipment at the Faculty of Engineering.
According to Yemen News Agency, the university president, accompanied by the dean of the faculty, Dr. Adel Rawah, inspected the readiness of the laboratories and assessed their needs for technical and scientific upgrades. There was a particular focus on modernizing the Chemical Engineering Department laboratories, which welcomed their first batch of students this year.
Following the visit, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the university president. Attendees included the dean and deputy deans of the faculty, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Amri, Executive Director of the Engineering Consulting Center, and Dr. Mohammed Al-Muzaqar, Executive Director of the Renewable Energy Center. The meeting discussed the condition of the laboratories and equipment, emphasizing the need to update them to keep pace with rapid scientific and technological developments.
During the meeting, the university president highlighted the important role of the faculty’s new leadership and stressed the necessity of teamwork and dedicated efforts. This approach aims to ensure the success of the educational process at the Faculty of Engineering and create an advanced academic and research environment that aligns with current scientific and technological advancements.
He urged the development of laboratories to help prepare qualified engineering personnel capable of meeting labor market demands, affirming the university’s commitment to supporting its faculties to serve as a model of academic and research excellence in Yemen.
