Sana’a: The Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badreddin al-Houthi, highlighted the significance of President Saleh al-Sammad’s martyrdom anniversary as a source of inspiration for Yemeni perseverance and sacrifice. In his speech, Sayyid al-Houthi praised Al-Sammad’s contributions, efforts, and commitment to faith and responsibility during the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen.
According to Yemen News Agency, Sayyid al-Houthi emphasized the importance of President Al-Sammad’s role in maintaining internal unity during Yemen’s most perilous times. He noted the President’s faith-based approach and his efforts to confront the aggression, highlighting the December sedition as a critical period for Yemen.
The speech also extended condolences to the Mujahideen in Al-Qassam Brigades, the Hamas movement, and the Palestinians on the martyrdom of Commander Muhammad al-Dayef. Sayyid al-Houthi praised Al-Dayef’s contributions to the resistance and the steadfastness of the Qassam Brigades in the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle.
Sayyid al-Houthi further criticized the US and Saudi aggression against Yemen, attributing it to Yemen’s faith-based identity and its support for major issues like the Palestinian cause. He accused the US of orchestrating the aggression, with Saudi Arabia playing a significant financial and supportive role.
The leader stressed the importance of commemorating martyrs, highlighting their sacrifices and suggesting naming places after them. He reiterated the necessity for Yemenis to support the Palestinian cause and emphasized the role of faith and independence in the nation’s struggle.
Sayyid al-Houthi condemned the actions of enemies against Palestinians, describing them as violations of human rights and emphasizing the need for resistance against such aggression. He stressed the importance of freedom for the nation and denounced submission to foreign powers.
He also highlighted the role of the Palestinian resistance and Hezbollah in Lebanon as crucial in protecting the region from further aggression. He acknowledged the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran and emphasized the need for more substantial backing from other nations.
The Revolution Leader concluded by expressing readiness to respond to any escalation by the Israeli enemy in Gaza or Lebanon, underscoring the importance of continuous preparation and building strength to confront future challenges.
