Sana'a: The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, has called on the Yemeni people to participate in a million-man popular march tomorrow, Friday, to commemorate the Day of Criterion (Yawm al-Furqan) of the Great Battle of Badr.
According to Yemen News Agency, Sayyed Abdulmalik made this call during his Ramadan lecture, emphasizing the need for Yemenis to demonstrate their steadfastness in the Islamic cause, by carrying the banner of Islam and confronting what he described as the era's tyrants, namely the Americans and Israelis.
He urged the Yemeni people to show their unwavering support for the Iranian people and its Islamic system, expressing readiness for any developments. He also reiterated Yemen's steadfast support for the Palestinian people and those in Lebanon and beyond.
Sayyed Abdulmalik highlighted the importance of a significant turnout in the capital, Sana'a, and other governorates, stating that the march is part of their jihad and Islamic duty. He described it as an essential message for the time and a significant commemoration of the anniversary.
Regarding Yemen's position, the Leader reaffirmed the Yemeni people's solidarity with Iran and the Iranian people. He noted the readiness for military escalation if developments necessitate, describing the current battle as one for the entire nation. He criticized what he called the Zionist enemy's efforts to impose violations on the nation and conduct open warfare against the free people without restrictions.
