Sana'a: The leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, has called upon the Yemeni people to participate in a significant demonstration on Friday in the capital Sana'a and other governorates. The event is named the "Friday of Warning and Alarm."
According to Yemen News Agency, the leader emphasized that the demonstration would be an unprecedented public turnout, urging the people to affirm their commitment to freedom, dignity, and faith. He stated that this gathering is a declaration of resistance against oppression and a testament to the Yemeni people's desire for independence and dignity.
Al-Houthi articulated the current situation as pivotal, requiring a choice between liberation and continued siege. He criticized the lack of peace initiatives and respect from the Saudi side, suggesting that if escalation occurs, Yemenis would respond in kind with resilience and dedication.
He further accused Saudi Arabia of attempting to dominate Yemen, infringing on its freedom and independence. Al-Houthi portrayed the Yemeni people as unjustly oppressed and suffering under Saudi actions, urging them to resist such subjugation.
The leader stressed the importance of the demonstration, linking it to the historical dignity and religious convictions of Yemenis. He pledged his own life in service to the people's freedom and dignity, urging them to assert their independence and submit only to divine authority.
Al-Houthi expressed hope for a remarkable turnout at the demonstration, which he believes will send a historic message of defiance and resilience.
