Sana'a: Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi announced Yemen's commitment to targeting vessels of companies that breach its naval ban, highlighting that Yemeni armed forces will engage any such vessels within their operational range.
According to Yemen News Agency, in a recent speech addressing the ongoing Israeli assault on Gaza and broader regional developments, Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized the significance of Yemen's actions. He referenced the sinking of two ships associated with companies violating Yemen's ban on Israeli-linked maritime activity. This action resulted in the re-closure of the port of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) after an attempt to reopen it, sending a deterrent message to those defying Yemeni decisions.
Sayyed al-Houthi commended Yemen's support front in the 'Promised Victory and Sacred Jihad,' reinforcing their backing of the Palestinian resistance and efforts in Gaza. He disclosed that Yemen conducted 11 operations this week using hypersonic missiles and drones against Israeli positions in Jaffa, the Negev, and Umm al-Rashrash in occupied Palestine.
Furthermore, he acknowledged the Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman for his outspoken support of Yemen's operations in solidarity with the Palestinian people, praising his courage among Muslim scholars.
Addressing the situation in Gaza, Sayyed al-Houthi criticized the Israeli military's actions, describing them as a genocidal campaign with full American support. He noted the extensive use of American-made bombs and lamented the role of Arab funds in financing these weapons under the guise of investments.
He condemned the U.S. for its strategic alignment with Israel, emphasizing that American support for Israeli actions is a long-term commitment, not subject to changes in administration or policy. He warned against the naive belief that the U.S. might shift its stance to support justice for Muslims.
Sayyed al-Houthi detailed the dire situation in Gaza, highlighting the humanitarian crisis and the deliberate actions by Israel to starve the population and cripple essential services. He pointed out the normalization of Israeli incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque and the continued aggression in the West Bank, including abductions, demolitions, and land theft.
He concluded by urging the continuation of support for Palestine through military and moral means, asserting that only resistance can halt the crimes of Israel and its American allies. Sayyed al-Houthi called for a massive turnout in a million-man march to reaffirm Yemen's support for Palestine and its commitment to resisting oppression.
