Sa'ada: Sa'ada governor Mohammed Awad has facilitated the delivery of three pieces of construction equipment to the Munabeh and Saqayn districts. The equipment, funded by the governorate's local authority in collaboration with the Central Emergency Development Intervention Unit, comes at a cost of 250 million rials.
According to Yemen News Agency, the handover ceremony was attended by Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region Major General Hamoud Shathan and Head of the Governorate's Public Works Sector Ahsan Al-Qahm. Governor Awad emphasized the importance of the equipment, which includes two bulldozers and an excavator, in aiding the public works sectors of the two districts. This provision forms part of the second phase of support from the Central Emergency Development Intervention Unit to the local authority in Sa'ada, with a third phase planned to extend support to the remaining districts.
The governor acknowledged the contributions of the Central Emergency Development Intervention Unit and others involved in the success of the initial phases. He expressed optimism that the equipment would facilitate the execution of planned projects and the opening of roads through challenging terrains in remote districts.
