Sa’ada Tender Committee Reviews Key Projects, Approves New Initiatives for 1447 AH

Sa'ada: The Sa'ada Governorate Tender Committee, under the leadership of Governor Mohammed Awad, convened a meeting to evaluate the progress of ongoing projects for the years 1445-1446 AH and to sanction new projects for 1447 AH. The session, which saw the participation of the Secretary-General of the Governorate's Local Council, Mohammed al-Emad, along with other officials, concentrated on critical development initiatives.

According to Yemen News Agency, one of the significant outcomes of this meeting was the approval to include the Sa'ada Old City Wall Project in the upcoming projects list for 1447 AH. This project will be implemented in phases, guided by a detailed study that will be reviewed by the relevant authorities.

The committee also reviewed various service, health, and agricultural projects. They approved the submission of remaining budget balances from 1444 to 1446 AH to the Tender Committee for allocation. Additionally, a study was authorized to address necessary improvements for the road connecting the vicinity of al-Salam Hospital to the Specialized Hospital intersection. The findings from this study will be presented to the Road Maintenance Fund for implementation.

Governor Awad emphasized the importance of conducting a comprehensive study on emergency projects, which are planned to be executed in multiple phases to address urgent needs within the governorate. This meeting highlights Sa'ada governorate's dedication to enhancing infrastructure and public services through meticulous planning and phased project execution.
