Sana'a: The General Mobilization of the Women's Committee in the Capital Sana'a launched its activities to commemorate the Day of al-Wilayah (Eid al-Ghadir) for the year 1446 AH, under the slogan "Whoever I am his guardian, then this Ali is his guardian." The activities are set to take place across all districts of the capital.

According to Yemen News Agency, Ibtisam al-Muhatwari, Mobilization Officer and Director General of Women's Development at the Capital Head Office, stressed the importance of the anniversary for drawing lessons from Imam Ali's sacrifices and life, which have a significant impact on believers. She explained that the meeting's purpose is to prepare for a commemoration that honors Imam Ali's status, urging widespread participation in the events and activities planned.

Al-Muhatwari highlighted that the Wilayat anniversary occurs amid "enemies of Islam's attacks" on the nation, which include a "soft war" and the spread of "false cultures and destructive and deviant ideas" that aim to distort the true spirit of Islam.

Hanan al-Azzi, head of the Quranic Culture Unit, outlined guidelines for commemorating the anniversary. She called for heightened attention to the event and stressed the importance of strengthening faith identity and Quranic culture within society.
