Sana'a: A cultural symposium titled "The Nature of Conflict with Zionist Enemy" was held today in Sana'a. The symposium was organized by the Ministry of Electricity, Energy, and Water, in cooperation with the Preparatory Committee for the Palestine Conference.
According to Yemen News Agency, the symposium, in coordination with the Central Committee for Mobilization and Public Mobilization and the Yemeni Center for Political and Strategic Studies, discussed four themes: the conflict with the People of the Book, the stages of Zionist control over Christians, the role of the Saudi regime in serving the Zionist enemy, and the Zionist enemy's methodology in targeting water resources.
At the opening, Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water, Dr. Ali Saif, emphasized the importance of holding the symposium, which highlights the nature of the conflict with the Zionist enemy at one of the greatest turning points in the history of the conflict with the Zionist-American project. He considered the battle of "The Promised Victory and the Holy Jihad," which Yemen is waging against the Zionist-American enemy, as the culmination of the conflict between the axis of the oppressed and the axis of global tyranny.
The Minister pointed out that Operation "Noah's Flood" marked the beginning of this battle. It was the first cry that revived the body of the nation and redirected the compass toward Quds as a central issue that cannot be forgotten. He explained that this battle is not a passing event in the context of time but rather a historical turning point with profound strategic dimensions.
Dr. Ali Saif clarified that the battle of "The Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad," in its civilizational dimension, revealed that the American-Zionist project was not merely an occupation of land, but rather an attempt to erase identity, destroy awareness, and replace religious doctrine. He emphasized the battle's religious and moral dimensions, embodying Islamic values of sacrifice, patience, and steadfastness.
Dr. Abdul Rahim Al-Hamran, Saada University President, reviewed the symposium's first theme, "The Conflict with the People of the Book," addressing the historical conflict with the Jews and the ongoing tragedy in Gaza and all of Palestine. He highlighted the martyrdom and injury of over 220,000 Palestinian citizens and the destruction of Gaza's infrastructure since October 7, 2023.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Arami, President of Al-Bayda University, discussed the emergence of Zionism and its control over Christians in various stages. He explained the historical progression of Zionist influence in Europe and its impact on geopolitical dynamics.
Sheikh Muqbil Al-Kadhi, a member of the Mobilization Committee, highlighted the role of the Saudi regime in serving the Zionist enemy. He discussed Britain's historical support for the House of Saud and the subsequent geopolitical consequences, including alliances and military operations in the region.
The Directors of Water and Sanitation, Muhammad Al-Du'ais, and the Director of Water and Sanitation Sector Reform, Zaid Al-Kahlani, addressed the Zionist enemy's targeting of water and sanitation sectors in Yemen and the Gaza Strip. They presented statistics on airstrikes affecting Yemen's electricity sector and the resulting damage to infrastructure.
The seminar was attended by officials from the Ministry of Electricity, Energy and Water, and other affiliated bodies and institutions.
