Sana'a: The Sana'a Governorate branch of the General Authority for Lands, Survey and Urban Planning has initiated an electronic collection service via the government's financial and accounting information system.
According to Yemen News Agency, Director General of the Authority's Sana'a branch, Yahya Al-Shami, highlighted that the new service is part of a broader government initiative to automate financial operations within state institutions. This move aims to enhance performance, improve services, and speed up transaction processes.
Al-Shami emphasized the Authority's dedication to implementing the system to boost transparency and oversight, minimize manual cash handling, and provide decision-makers with precise, real-time data. He stated that the focus on automation aligns with the directives from revolutionary and political leadership to enhance performance and adopt modern applications and collection systems.
Al-Shami also commended the Ministry of Finance for their role in achieving these advancements, which are expected to facilitate the automation of operations across various state institutions.
