Sana'a: A meeting chaired by Sana'a province undersecretary Hamid Asim discussed on Wednesday coordination between the Community Initiatives Department and cooperative societies to strengthen development efforts in the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed challenges facing the implementation of community initiative projects and stressed the need for clear criteria in prioritizing development projects across districts. It also recommended assigning project officers to oversee execution, disbursements, and related tasks.

Asim emphasized integrating official and community efforts to alleviate the suffering of residents, especially in deprived areas. The meeting was attended by sector heads, engineers, and cooperative society specialists.
