Sana’a: A meeting chaired by Eng. Abdulkarim al-Houthi, Deputy Director of the Capital Sana’a for Works and Projects, has focused on optimizing the work of the executive unit for road and public space construction and maintenance during Ramadan. The gathering aimed to ensure the timely execution of essential infrastructure projects.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, which included the participation of Eng. Ali Muhraqa, Deputy Director of the Executive Unit, alongside department directors, reviewed the progress of ongoing restoration and maintenance projects for Sana’a’s streets. These projects are funded by the local authority and are crucial for the city’s development.
The discussions also led to the approval of five new projects. These encompass the rehabilitation and maintenance of the al-Wahd District building, work on Street 20, improvements at the intersection of al-Sitteen Street and al-Zira’a Street, work on Badr Mosque Street, and enhancements at the intersection of Street 45 and the Ring Road.
Eng. Al-Houthi emphasized the need for increased effort and faster project completion, highlighting their significance in improving infrastructure and citizen services. These projects align with the priorities of Capital Sana’a, aiming to enhance the quality of life for its residents.
