Sana’a Officials Review Progress of Summer Courses in Al-Thawrah District

Sana'a: Heads of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families, Taha Jaraan; the Scholars and Learners Department, Allama Ali Jaraan; the Social Affairs Department in the Capital Secretariat, Ali Al-Mutamayyiz; and member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, Saleh Al-Khawlani, inspected on Wednesday the progress of summer courses in Al-Thawrah District in the Capital Secretariat.

According to Yemen News Agency, the officials were joined by the Vice President of Ibb University, Dr. Ahmed Abu Luhoum, along with members of the Scholars and Learners Department, Allama Mohammed Al-Hashshoush and Allama Ali Al-Banous, as well as executive and mobilization leaders. The delegation assessed the summer activities at Al-Sayyid Al-Qaed, Martyr Ismail Haniyeh, Martyr Hassan Nasrallah, Sama'a Al-Nahda, Martyr Mohammed Al-Deif, and Al-Rahman schools located in the Al-Nahda and Al-Mala'ab neighborhoods.

During their visit, the delegation was briefed on the ongoing activities, educational and cultural programs, and sports and skills-based activities provided to students. They examined the level of student engagement and participation, focusing on initiatives aimed at building youth capacities and imparting beneficial knowledge.

The delegation witnessed presentations and creative contributions from students, commending the organization, engagement, and overall student turnout. They emphasized the positive impacts students experienced across different fields.

The officials affirmed that these visits are part of ongoing efforts to support and enhance summer courses, encouraging students and youth to utilize their free time and school holidays in productive ways. This initiative also aims to reinforce Quranic culture and a faith-based identity among the participants.
