Sana'a: The capital Sana'a has adorned itself in green, declaring its readiness to welcome the guests of the Messenger of Allah for the grand celebration of the birth of the Master of the two worlds, the best of those to ever walk the earth, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).

According to Yemen News Agency, the city's buildings, streets, markets, squares, and minarets have been decorated with prophetic lights, while its mountains are illuminated with phrases expressing joy over the Prophet's birthday. Streets and houses are adorned with banners bearing messages of loyalty and welcome, in a spiritual scene reflecting the eagerness of all to participate in this Muhammadan festival and renew their pledge to follow the path of the Messenger of Humanity.

Sana'a now appears in its brightest form, radiating spirituality through the prophetic lights, a reflection of the deep connection and greatness of the occasion in the hearts of Yemenis. The scenes of joy and celebration narrate a story of loyalty passed down by the descendants of the Ansar, sending a message to the world that the light of the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), will continue to shine in Yemen-the land of faith and wisdom-and that his love and path remain firmly rooted in the lives and actions of its people.

Amid an atmosphere filled with love and reverence for the Prophet, and with an official and popular momentum, festivities continue in preparation for the central celebration of the Prophet's birthday on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal at Al-Sabeen Square. While the religious celebrations vary, Sana'a stands out with its forms of nasheed and prophetic praise. Prophetic praises add a spiritual atmosphere to the occasion, lifting hearts through melodic recitations that embody the values of mercy, compassion, and standing with the oppressed. Poets and chanters compete to offer their best in praise of the Prophet, while universities, institutes, and schools witness activities highlighting his noble biography, struggle, and morals.

In this context, the Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hamoud Obad, told the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) that preparations for the Prophet's birthday celebration are being carried out at all levels in accordance with a comprehensive plan for this religious occasion. He pointed out that the Municipality had mobilized efforts early on, dedicating resources for decoration, beautification, and final arrangements to welcome the guests.

Dr. Obad also highlighted the efforts and preparations undertaken by all municipal sectors, offices, and districts, along with the community engagement seen across neighborhoods and areas of the capital. He called on all residents to attend the central celebration at Al-Sabeen Square to send a message to the world that Yemenis remain steadfast in their loyalty to the Prophet and continue their support for the oppressed Palestinian people.

First Deputy Mayor of Sana'a, Khaled Al-Madani, noted that commemorating the Prophet's birthday carries significance, especially in light of the current challenges facing the Ummah. He affirmed that this grand commemoration is a spiritual and mobilizing station to magnify the Prophet and recall his noble life and struggle. Despite the atmosphere of joy and celebration, Al-Madani emphasized that Yemenis cannot forget the concerns and pains of the Ummah, especially as Gaza faces genocide and starvation. Yet, the Yemeni people find solace in doing all they can and offering sacrifices to support the Palestinian people.
