Sana'a: The Security Committee in Sana'a governorate held a meeting on Saturday, chaired by governor Abdulbaset al-Hadi, to review the security plan for the upcoming celebrations of the Prophet's birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi).
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting discussed a set of security measures aimed at ensuring the safety of participants in the popular events and the processions honoring the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). The committee stressed the importance of preparedness, vigilance, and closing potential security gaps, while calling on security forces to demonstrate high moral conduct when dealing with the guests of the Prophet. It also emphasized the need for enhanced coordination among all security agencies and units.
The committee praised the military operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces in support of the Palestinian people and their steadfast resistance in the Gaza Strip, describing them as a clear reflection of Yemen's principled stance on the causes of the Muslim Ummah. Governor al-Hadi highlighted the importance of thorough preparations for commemorating the Prophet's birthday in a way that strengthens attachment to the values and principles embodied by the Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), foremost among them the struggle against oppression and tyranny, the pursuit of justice, and the enmity towards the adversaries of God and His Messenger.
