Sanaa:Sanaa University organized a mass protest rally at its Faculty of Medicine on Tuesday to condemn the Saudi strike on the Faculty of Medicine building at Hodeida University.
According to Yemen News Agency, the protest rally was attended by University President Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, alongside academic staff and students. They collectively denounced the targeting of educational institutions, emphasizing that such actions pose a threat to education and the future of upcoming generations.
Dr. Al-Bukhaiti characterized the air attack as part of an ongoing campaign against Yemen's educational and civilian institutions. He urged universities and international organizations to join in condemning these actions.
The rally also expressed solidarity with Hodeidah University, calling on international bodies responsible for protecting education to take action against attacks on Yemeni educational institutions. It affirmed the commitment of university staff to continue their educational mission despite these aggressive attacks.
