Sana’a University Designated as Yemen’s Premier Development Think Tank

Sana'a: An expanded meeting held on Saturday at Sana'a University, chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah and attended by several ministers, focused on strengthening the university's pivotal role in serving society and national development. The discussion emphasized utilizing the university's extensive scientific, research, and technical expertise to find solutions for development requirements, the national economy, and local production.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting affirmed Sana'a University's qualification to be Yemen's largest university and the premier think tank for the "government of change and construction." All ministries, institutions, and government companies were mandated to cooperate with the university to integrate scientific minds into state institutions.

Furthermore, the government will guide productive and service institutions to provide field training for Sana'a University students and leverage their graduation projects to boost production efficiency and integrate academic research with real-world needs. The meeting was attended by various academic and engineering experts.
