Sana’a: Sana’a University’s Council discussed on Sunday measures to improve academic and administrative performance during a meeting chaired by University Chairman Dr. Mohammed al-Bukhaiti. The council reviewed steps to strengthen the university’s role in community service and national development. It approved the promotion and status adjustment of 22 faculty members and the hourly contracting of two others.
According to Yemen News Agency, the council also tasked the Information Systems Department with upgrading the electronic examination system in line with international standards, ensuring accessibility for students with special needs. Additionally, it endorsed the awarding of 11 PhDs and 29 Master’s degrees, along with results for six diploma students.
The meeting highlighted the importance of directing scientific research toward development priorities and enhancing partnerships with the public and private sectors, alongside reviewing quality and infrastructure assessments.
