Sana'a: Sana'a University and the University Student Forum inaugurated the activities for the Prophet's Birthday 1447 AH with a rhetorical event organized by the College of Commerce and Economics. The event also marked the reception of new students and the honoring of top-performing students.

According to Yemen News Agency, the President of the University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, highlighted that the recognition of the top students coincided with the launch of the Prophet's Birthday activities at the Faculty of Commerce and Economics. This faculty's students make up 20 percent of the university's total enrollment, which exceeds 20,000 students.

Dr. Al-Bukhaiti acknowledged the commitment of the faculty staff and students who have endured challenging times and emphasized the importance of supporting students by instilling noble values and protecting them from misleading and foreign ideologies.

He also mentioned the significant role of the college's students in supporting Gaza alongside other university faculties. This support is demonstrated through weekly marches in the university's Gaza Square and participation in "Al-Aqsa Flood" courses to commemorate the Prophet's birth and raise awareness about the challenges facing the Arab and Islamic nations.

The event, attended by faculty leaders, academic and administrative staff, and students, featured a theatrical sketch, folkloric performances of the Covenant Song, and a poem by poet Yaqoub Al-Khamri. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of shields and certificates of appreciation to the top students.
