Sana’a Water Corporation Employees Complete Technical Training Program

Sana’a: The Skills Development Fund concluded a 45-day program on Saturday, qualifying 75 employees from the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in the capital Sana’a in technical and technological specializations.

According to Yemen News Agency, the program was funded by the Skills Development Fund and implemented by the Industrial Technical Institute in Dhahban. It consisted of three training courses focused on the technical departments of the Water Corporation.

Director of the Corporation Eng. Mohammed Mada’is stated that the participants will undergo field application through an upcoming Corporation project. He emphasized the Corporation’s commitment to continuous staff qualification and competency enhancement to improve citizen services.

Deputy Executive Director of the Skills Development Fund Abdulsabour al-Mahbashi highlighted the program as an activity aimed at raising the competencies of institutions contributing to the Fund. He affirmed the Fund’s commitment to supporting the Corporation’s training plans.

Deputy Dean of the Industrial Technical Institute Dr. Ibrahim al-Amri noted the participants’ active engagement during the program. The training focused on the Corporation’s activities, including water production, distribution networks, sewage systems, and pumping stations. He emphasized the institute’s capacity for ongoing training in these areas.
