Sana’a Youth Training and Development Center Commemorates Ashura with Speech Event

Sana'a: Sana'a Youth Training and Development Center commemorated on Thursday the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) with a speech event.

According to Yemen News Agency, Abdullah al-Razihi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the Youth Sector, emphasized the importance of commemorating the anniversary to draw lessons and inspiration from the sacrifices of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in confronting injustice and supporting truth, urging the participants to follow his path in resisting the forces of arrogance and aggression.

He highlighted the role of youth in recognizing their religious and national responsibility and actively contributing to the development and building of society. He called on the youth to protect society from misguided ideologies and the soft war targeting the faith-based identity.

Abdullah al-Razihi also stressed the necessity of drawing upon the values of steadfastness and resilience embodied in Imam Hussein's revolution against tyranny.

The event included literary and artistic materials expressing the status of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and what he embodied of the meanings of sacrifice and redemption. Participants reflected on the lessons learned from the incident of Karbala in facing contemporary challenges.
