Sanhan: The Women's Committee in Sanhan district in Sana'a governorate organized two speech events on Saturday in the areas of Dar Ghallab and al-Mahaqera to commemorate the Day of al-Wilayah, also known as Eid al-Ghadir. The events were themed under the slogan "Whoever I am his master, then this Ali is his master."
According to Yemen News Agency, the speeches at both gatherings underscored the importance of the Day of al-Wilayah in the nation's history. This day marks the Prophet Muhammad's announcement of Imam Ali's Wilayah, which is seen as setting the correct path for the nation.
The events focused on drawing lessons in courage, sacrifice, and boldness in defending religion and confronting adversaries through loyalty and sincere devotion to Imam Ali and the Prophet's family. Chanting segments during the events expressed love, loyalty, and adherence to the principle of guardianship.
