Saudi Ministry Trains Yemeni Scholars in Mecca on AI for Islamic Advocacy

Mecca: The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs is training 50 Yemeni scholars in Mecca on artificial intelligence skills to serve the call to Islam and content creation. According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance organized a specialized training course entitled "Skills in Dealing with Artificial Intelligence Tools and Employing Them in the Service of Advocacy and Content Creation." The course was held with the participation of scholars, preachers, and representatives from various Yemeni governorates. The course aimed to introduce the participants to the latest artificial intelligence applications and technologies, enhancing their skills in using these modern tools to develop advocacy discourse and improve the quality of media and knowledge content. This initiative intends to make the delivery of advocacy messages more effective and influential, while also keeping pace with rapid technological changes. The training covered various scientific and applied t opics, including the introduction of prominent artificial intelligence tools, the mechanisms for employing these tools in research and scientific material preparation, digital content creation, and media platform management. Practical applications were also included to enhance participants' efficiency in using modern technologies to support advocacy work and community awareness. At the conclusion of the course, participants expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, and its people for their support. They appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in organizing the training program, noting that it helped develop their skills and abilities to employ artificial intelligence tools in advocacy and content creation, benefiting Islamic societies and keeping pace with technological advancements.
