Hajjah: The anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth holds great significance as a spiritual station where the Yemeni people renew their covenant to adhere to the Prophet's approach, and to entrench the values of tolerance, mercy, guidance, and justice he brought to lead humanity out of darkness into light.

According to Yemen News Agency, scholars emphasize that commemorating the noble Mawlid contributes to strengthening the nation's connection to the Messenger of God, recalling his pure biography, his stances, jihad, and courage in confronting conspiracies and dangers surrounding the nation. It also expresses reverence, love, and emulation of the Messenger of mercy and humanity.

The Yemeni News Agency surveyed the opinions of a number of scholars and sheikhs in Hajjah Governorate to discuss the importance of commemorating this great religious occasion and its implications, as well as to highlight the role of Yemenis in supporting the Islamic religion, their honorable stances in supporting the Palestinian people, and defending the causes and sanctities of the nation.

Abdulaziz Al-Warfi, a member of the Scholars and Educators Unit in the governorate, pointed out that this religious occasion represents a station to derive lessons from the Prophet's biography and emulate the Messenger in various aspects of life. He affirmed that the Yemenis' commemoration of the Mawlid embodies their love and emulation of the Seal of the Prophets, who described them as the people of faith and wisdom. He noted that the Yemeni people are keen to commemorate this occasion in a way unparalleled in the world, translating their love for the Greatest Messenger by following his approach in supporting the oppressed and confronting the forces of arrogance and tyranny.

He attributed the deviation witnessed by the nation in the current era to the departure from the upright Muhammadan approach, the Ahl al-Bayt (the Prophet's household), and the beacons of guidance.

Regarding the implications of commemorating the Mawlid, the scholar Yahya Al-Khatib, a member of the Yemeni Scholars League, explained that this occasion represents a spiritual station through which the descendants of the Ansar renew their close connection with the Prophet, derive lessons from his biography, ethics, and approach in building human beings, and express praise and thanks to God Almighty for the blessing of guidance.

In turn, the scholar Ismail Al-Sharafi clarified that the Yemeni people's love for the noble Messenger stems from implementing the commands of God Almighty, who ordered believers to manifest joy for God's mercy, and the Messenger of God is the mercy He sent to all worlds.

Meanwhile, the scholar Abdulmajid Sharafuddin, a member of the Yemeni Scholars League, considered that the stances of the people of faith and wisdom in defending the causes of the nation, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, and confronting the forces of arrogance, are an extension of the authentic Muhammadan approach, based on the principles of supporting the oppressed, rejecting subservience, and adhering to the values of dignity and honor that the noble Messenger instilled in the reality of the nation.
