Al-mahwit: Schools in the At-Tuwaila District of Al-Mahwit Governorate organized a series of activities and school radio programs to mark the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's birthday, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. Events were held at several schools, including 26 September, Taibah Private School, Asma Complex in Bayt Qatina, Al-Falah and Al-Fath Schools in Madham, Al-Sabeen in Hisn al-Mukhayr, Al-Nasr in Bayt Talan, Al-Shaheed al-Sammad in Al-Qadim District, and Al-Zahraa Complex in the city.
According to Yemen News Agency, students expressed the significance of this occasion through performances that highlighted the role of the event in strengthening faith identity and adherence to Islamic principles. The programs included poetry and songs that reflected the joy of Yemenis in celebrating the Prophet's birthday. Concurrently, Al-Wahdah Educational Complex launched the 'Greatest Messenger' football tournament among its students as part of the sports activities for the occasion.
In conjunction with these activities, a large student march took place with participants from 26 September, Taibah Private, Omar bin Abdulaziz in Al-Muammar, and Hamzah bin Abdulmutalib in Al-Mawrah schools. The march condemned ongoing genocide and starvation crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza. It was led by District Director Colonel Rashid Marwan, Mawlid Mobilization Official Radwan al-Kannani, and member of Ansar Allah's Cultural Department, Muhammad Wahas. Participants emphasized the connection between commemorating the Prophet's birth and supporting the causes of the Muslim nation, particularly the Palestinian cause.
Students chanted slogans in solidarity with Palestine and against the continuation of Israeli aggression, denouncing the genocide in Gaza backed by the U.S. and international complacency. They reaffirmed the steadfast position of the Yemeni people in supporting the Palestinian people until victory, freedom, and independence are achieved.
Additionally, Asma Educational Complex in Bayt Qatina organized a protest condemning the ongoing U.S.-Israeli aggression on Gaza and the systematic starvation crimes against the Palestinian people amid international complacency. Participants expressed solidarity with Palestine, reiterating their firm stance in support of the Palestinian cause and the people's right to resist occupation, achieve freedom, and independence.
