Amran: The Amran branch of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families launched a school bag distribution project for the children of martyrs and missing persons for the new academic year under the slogan: "With Knowledge and Education... We Preserve the Legacy of Our Martyrs."
According to Yemen News Agency, during an expanded meeting with district representatives, participants discussed their responsibilities and the distribution mechanism, emphasizing the importance of delivering school bags to beneficiaries across all districts, villages, and rural areas.
Branch Director Ibrahim Al-Nono stated that the project aims to distribute 5,000 school bags equipped with essential educational supplies for primary and secondary school students who are children of martyrs and missing persons throughout Amran Governorate.
He highlighted that the initiative is part of the Authority's broader programs supporting the children of martyrs and missing persons, particularly in education, underscoring the importance of investing in education as a foundation for building future generations.
Al-Nono mentioned that the Authority is coordinating with the education sector to implement programs aimed at improving the academic performance of these students and providing a suitable learning environment to help them continue their education.
He reiterated the state's commitment to supporting the families and children of martyrs, commending the Authority's leadership for implementing projects that improve their living conditions and meet their needs across various sectors.
