Al-tawilah: Schools in Al-Tawilah district of Al-Mahwit governorate organized speeches on Tuesday to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday for the year 1448 AH. The speeches delivered at the events emphasized the importance of observing this significant religious occasion to draw lessons and inspiration from the Prophet's noble life, embody the values and principles brought by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and instill them in the hearts of students.
According to Yemen News Agency, the commemoration of the Prophet's birthday was considered an opportunity to express love for the final Prophet, adhere to his guidance and teachings, and embody his values, principles, and morals in daily life. The statement explained that the people of Yemen are keen to commemorate the occasion annually, as it represents a significant religious and educational milestone that strengthens their connection to the Prophet of Humanity and encourages them to follow his righteous path. It also reinforces noble Islamic values and the principles of solidarity, compassion, and benevolence in the hearts of future generations.
The statement further noted that commemorating the Prophet's birthday provides an opportunity to draw lessons and inspiration from the life of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and the values of justice, mercy, equality, patience, and steadfastness he embodied in the face of injustice and tyranny. It also reinforces awareness of the importance of emulating his morals and conduct in all aspects of life.
In addition, the Tayyiba Basic Secondary School in Beit Qutaynah, Bani al-Khayyat district, organized a celebratory event for the occasion. This included the opening of an exhibition of photographs and models depicting aspects of the Prophet's life and the celebrations of his birthday. The exhibition featured photographs and models created by students, reflecting their engagement with the occasion and its educational and cultural significance, as well as showcasing their talents and creativity.
The event's speakers emphasized the importance of the school's role in instilling prophetic values and principles in students, and introducing them to the life of the Prophet and his great stances, which contributes to building a generation that adheres to its faith and cultural identity and Islamic values.
