Sana'a: Summer school students in the Al-Nadirah, As-Saddah, and Al-Radmah districts of Ibb Governorate organized a student march and scouting performances as part of the educational and cultural activities of the summer schools for the year 1447 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the scouting displays and march, attended by students, parents, and organizing committees, showcased the discipline and skills acquired by the students through the summer programs. The events highlighted the educational outcomes aimed at reinforcing faith-based identity and attachment to the Holy Quran as a guide for behavior and life.
During the march, participants chanted slogans and expressions emphasizing steadfastness, awareness, loyalty to God, and national belonging. They underscored the importance of summer schools in protecting youth from foreign cultures and destructive ideas, and in building a generation committed to religious and national values.
The participants acknowledged that summer schools provide an environment for education and development, contributing to the expansion of students' knowledge, refinement of talents, and strengthening of values such as responsibility, discipline, and cooperation. These schools also play a crucial role in raising awareness and confronting what is described as soft warfare targeting the community's cultural and faith identity.
Members of the executive committees for summer activities noted that the scouting events and student marches are practical reflections of the educational, cultural, and awareness programs offered to students. They affirmed that summer schools continue to equip a generation with knowledge, awareness, and Quranic values to face various challenges.
The growing enrollment in summer schools, they added, reflects increasing societal awareness of their role in shaping youth personality, strengthening identity, and protecting young people from intellectual deviation and harmful behaviors.
