Hajja: The organizing committee of the 'Martyrs on the Road to Al-Quds' football tournament in Hajja conducted on Friday the second-round draw for the senior category.
According to Yemen News Agency, the draw placed the teams Al-Shaheed Abu Abdel, Al-Tahadi, and Shabab Tihama in Group One, while Group Two will feature Al-Hilal Al-Ahmar and Gaza's late Mohamed Salba team. Two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals of the tournament, which is organized by Al-Nasr Sports and Cultural Club under the supervision of the Governorate's Youth and Sports Office.
Tomorrow, Al-Shaheed Abu Abdel will face Al-Tahadi in Group One, while Al-Hilal Al-Ahmar will play Gaza in Group Two. In the same tournament for volleyball, Al-Ahli defeated Al-Hilal Al-Ahmar two sets to one in the opening matches, while Kahlan Afar overcame Al-Shaheed Khamenei team in straight sets, 2-0.
