Bani al-harith: The Western Region Security Directorate and police centers in Bani Al-Harith District of the capital organized a commemorative event on Wednesday marking the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday for the year 1447 AH under the slogan 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by Shura Council member Adel Al-Hanbasi, the Deputy Directors of the Capital Secretariat Yahya Jamil and Ismail Daif Allah, the District Director Hamid bin Rakan, and the Deputy Director of Capital Security, Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Hashimi. Hamedy Ziyad, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, described the Prophet's birthday as an occasion to renew loyalty to the Messenger of Allah and to draw inspiration from the values and principles upon which the state of justice and mercy was established. He emphasized that commemorating this occasion reflects Yemenis' adherence to the Prophet's path and their pride in their honorable religious history, noting that it comes at a time when the Islamic Ummah faces weakness and exploitation by enemies due to neglect of the Prophet's teachings and the Qur'an.
Ziyad also highlighted that through this occasion, Yemenis reaffirm their commitment to the righteous Muhammadan path, reject domination, dependency, and support Gaza and the Palestinian people, who are suffering some of the worst atrocities and starvation in modern history, amid shameful Arab and Islamic silence and inaction. He stressed that Yemen will remain steadfast in its religious, humanitarian, and moral stance alongside the Palestinian people until victory and empowerment are achieved, praising the role of the personnel and officers of Bani Al-Harith Security Directorate in maintaining security.
For his part, Colonel Daif Allah Al-Khatib, Director of Bani Al-Harith Western Region Security, described the Prophet's birthday celebrations as a spiritual and educational moment to reinforce awareness of the importance of returning to the Qur'an and the authentic Sunnah to confront the challenges and conspiracies affecting the Ummah. He affirmed that restoring the glory, strength, and dignity of the Islamic Ummah can only be achieved by adhering to the Qur'an, striving against global tyranny, following the Prophet's example, and supporting truth and the oppressed.
The event was attended by executive, security, and cultural leaders, as well as a gathering of sheikhs, elders, officers, and security personnel in Bani Al-Harith District. Meanwhile, a cultural evening was held in Wadi Ahmed, Bani Al-Harith, celebrating the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday. During the evening, Shura Council member Adel Al-Hanbasi emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday in a manner befitting its high status in the hearts of Yemenis, and the depth of their love and loyalty to the Messenger of Allah and his pure family. He noted that the festive activities organized by the Yemeni people on this occasion reflect their close connection to the Prophet, their emulation of his example, and the consolidation of Muhammadan values, principles, and religious identity in their hearts.
