Seismic Monitoring: A Slight Earthquake Measuring 2.9 Degrees in Bayda

Bayda: The stations of the Earthquake and Volcano Monitoring and Study Center recorded a slight earthquake in Bayda Governorate, measuring 2.9 degrees on the Richter scale, at 7:48 pm today, Saturday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the head of the center, Eng. Mohammed Hussein Al Houthi, explained in a statement that the monitoring stations recorded the epicenter of the earthquake 10 km northwest of Bayda city, and at a depth of 2 km from the surface of the earth.
